If you’re looking for a great meal with an epic view, Porter House is definitely the choice to make. Located at Columbus Circle in the Time Warner Building, Porter House’s view of Central Park has been described as “dazzling.” First rate service compliments the delicious food – be sure to try any one of the seafood appetizers, followed by a steak, of course! And don’t forget to save room for dessert, as the cheesecake is a fan favorite. After dinner, enjoy the short .3 mile walk along Central Park back to the hotel.

Nobu 57

Diners and critics alike rave that Nobu 57 is “Japanese cuisine at its best!!” From sushi to bento boxes and everything in between, Nobu offers an incredible, unforgettable dining experience! The servers are extremely knowledgeable, so if you can’t quite decide what you feel like eating, be sure to ask for recommendations – they’ll likely suggest the signature dish of rock shrimp with spicy mayo. Nobu is the place to see and be seen and is conveniently only .3 mile walk from the JW. Do note that it’s definitely on the more expensive end, so perhaps try swinging by for lunch to get your New York Nobu experience, which will certainly be worth every penny.

The Brooklyn Diner

The Brooklyn Diner is a great place to fuel up for a big day out in the Big Apple. A step up from your classic run-of-the-mill diner, this place still offers all the classics, and even hosts the great retro neon signage outside the restaurant, visible for blocks. Service is great, and regulars suggest getting in early to avoid waiting for your food. Think about trying an omelet or the classic fluffy pancakes. And if you’re not in the mood for breakfast, this is also a great late-night stop after a busy day of exploring, with a very quick .2 mile walk back to the hotel.

Burger Joint

You have to see this place to believe it! Located in the lobby of Le Parker Meridian Hotel, this hole-in-the-wall burger haven, can be described in no other way than, “divey.” There is exactly one item of food on the menu, and you guessed it, it’s a burger, with all the fixings you could want – plus beer, soda and milkshakes. Dining at the Burger Joint is nothing short of an experience, and if you are an adventure-seeker or a huge burger fan, you need to check this place out… definitely expect a line at most times of the day though, as people love this place. Take the short .3 mile walk over to the Le Parker Meridian, enter the lobby and look for the neon burger sign and you have found your delicious dinner!
