Our friend and “Vlogger” Sonia Gil spends 12 hours in Orlando outside the theme parks and somewhat off the beaten path, discovering “the Orlando I never knew I always loved.” We once provided an exciting list of activities to do in our Orlando Family Fun blog post, but today we want to share with you a different perspective.

Sonia’s day includes some shopping at the Etoile Boutique and a visit to Orlando’s bustling Farmer’s Market, followed by lunch at the highly-rated Pom Pom’s Teahouse and Sandwicheria.

After a very necessary digestive break, Sonia heads over to iFly Orlando for some indoor skydiving! The vertical wind tunnel creates true freefall conditions, but with no parachute, no jumping, and nothing attaching Sonia to planet Earth.

Once the adrenaline subsides a bit, it’s time for well-prepared ravioli for dinner at the Rusty Spoon, followed by a nightcap at Orlando’s popular Milk Bar.

There’s much more to Orlando than theme parks. Check out Tripping with Sonia Gil and once you’re done, check out our Florida vacation packages and start planning the trip you’ll be talking about for years to come.
