Puckett’s Grocery & Restaurant 
Cuisine: Traditional American/Southern

Puckett’s is a Nashville brunch hotspot, and only two blocks from the hotel. Make sure you make a reservation in preparation for this unforgettable meal. Although Puckett’s has great breakfast food, brunch is really the time to go in order to get the best of both works and enjoy some savory lunch options as well. Breakfast favorite come in the form of platters, The Texas Two-Step is a cornbread waffle with slow-cook brisket, home fries, peppers, onions, and topped with a fried egg, while the Southern Stack is slow-smoked pulled pork over sweet potato pancakes with fried apples, and a fried egg…. And those are just the beginning; there are 7 other platters to choose from, plus omelets, a breakfast burrito and biscuits. And if you prefer lunch food, try a BBQ platter, a mouthwatering sandwich, or a fan-favorite, the Piggy Mac, which is cherry wood smoked pulled-pork in an iron skillet topped with smoked Gouda mac ‘n cheese. Puckett’s does not disappoint! Come hungry and leave happy. And don’t forget, there’s live music! 

 

The Southern Steak & Oyster 
Cuisine: Southern/Steakhouse

Definitely start your meal at The Southern with oysters if you like them, they are fresh and delicious and this is a great place in the city to enjoy them. As for entrees, The Southern of course leans southern, but there is a good mix of a little bit of everything from Vietnamese Bahn Mi Tacos, to Rack of Lamb, to Fish and Grits, to Smoked Baby Back Ribs, and of course, steak! The vibe is lively and charming and the large dining room features a giant nautical star on the ceiling. This is another place to make sure you grab a reservation in advance, and get prepared to enjoy a divine feast of the South. There is also an impressive drink list including cocktails and a wide selection of wine, beer and spirits. The Southern is located a half-mile from the hotel.

 

Etch 
Cuisine: New American

Etch is on the more expensive-end for Nashville and is totally worth the splurge for an incredible meal. Travel the world, as Chef Deb Paquette introduces diners to global culinary creations exploding with flavor. Octopus and Shrimp Bruschetta and the Pork Belly, are favorites for appetizers – there’s also the Butter tasting, which features potato chip truffle, Italian sub, béarnaise, and Korean cranberry. As far as entrees there is Fish of the day, Scallops, Grilled Lamb Loin, Venison Chop, Grilled filet, Pork Tenderloin, and a daily vegetarian offering, and everything is delicious. TripAdvisor lists Etch as the number two restaurant in all of Nashville, it is absolutely one not to be missed – diners describe a meal at Etch as a “superb culinary experience” and it’s fortunately only a half-mile from the hotel.

 

Acme Feed & Seed
Cuisine: Traditional American/Southern/Sushi

Acme is a great place to both eat and listen to music – two of Nashville’s favorite pastimes. Although the dining room is spacious and uniquely decorated, the outdoor patio is Acme’s best physical feature and offers a view of the river. On Saturday and Sunday Acme also offers a really special brunch with Southern classics including: biscuits and gravy, chicken and waffles, shrimp and grits, ribs, and a classic burger. The dinner menu offers all those favorite plus other unique dishes such as beer belly tacos, “redneck lo mein,” and catfish. Another unique offering is… the sushi! Acme has all the staples and some great special rolls as well such as the deep fried Narita Roll, with shrimp, crab, avocado, cream cheese, and topped with spicy mayo. Acme Feed & Seed is a not-to-miss Nashville culinary experience and only a half-a-mile from the hotel.

 

Demos’ Restaurant 
Cuisine: Italian

If you need a break from the Southern cuisine and the fried foods, swing by Demos’. Demos’ is classic family style Italian, located .3 miles away from the hotel. Demos’ has all the Italian classics, plus a special steak menu featuring sirloin, rib-eye, and more! Demos’ is a family-owned restaurant that has been a tradition for four generations with authentic family recipes. Demos’ has great food, great prices, and fantastic service and some even call it a Nashville institution. Definitely start your meal with the classic bread basic, and then it’s a free-for-all from there, take your pick on your favorite Italian classic, Demos’ has everything!
